Expo '07!

It's official! The JANES Expo '07 will be Sunday, September 30th, 4:00-6:00 p.m. It will be a flurry of pink in the atrium and you will not want to miss it! Please invite your friends for an afternoon of fun and check out the great opportunities JANES will be offering this fall! More details coming soon!

Big Daddy Weave and JANES

Big Daddy Weave came to Bay Area Fellowship and the JANES were there to support the concert! We had a blast jamming out to the awesome sounds of this contemporary Christian band, and we were able to enjoy wonderful fellowship and worship God in the process! Big Daddy Weave stayed after the show to sign t-shirts, posters and CDs. They were extremely down-to-earth guys, who reflected any praise back unto God.

There was a long line for the t-shirts and CDs, but supporting a Christian band was well worth the wait!















Big Daddy Weave, Mike, was very gracious to the crazy JANES, and allowed the A Team to take photos for the JANES blog site. Thanks!
















We showed Mike the new JANES remembrance bracelets, and he thought they were very cool. So on behalf of the JANES everywhere, we gave him one of our bracelets to remember us by! Mike put the bracelet on immediately and sportingly posed his new accessory!
















Robin and Tasha were both helping out with World Vision. That night the World Vision folks completely sponsored out every single child that they brought to the Big Daddy Weave concert!

Thank you to all the JANES who were able to support our church during this concert. We know that JANES will continue to do their part in sharing the Gospel and changing lives!

A Note From Your Women's Minister

Dear Janes,

The days of summer are just about over and we are headed for a new season. I don't know what season you're in, but I know God has a plan: a plan to prosper you, not harm you; a plan to give you hope and a future! As we face a new season, I'm praying that God will give you a renewed spirit and a hunger to know Him even more! I'm so blessed to serve with you and I believe this is going to be a year of incredible ministry opportunities in our church and our community. If God is calling you to serve alongside other JANES, maybe this season is the time to say yes. I believe that God is calling us to "enlarge our territory" (Isaiah 54:2) and we are going to need your help! Let us know if you are feeling the nudge...we would love to have ya!
