Note from Women's Minister!

Hello JANES!

I just want to say that I am so blessed by the ministry of the BAF women. Kudos to those of you who studied God's Word this season and strengthened your walk with the Teacher. Kudos to those of you who have been involved in Outreach Projects in order to bless our community and grow your faith in the Provider. Way to go Bevy Teams as you carried on the vision to build Christ-centered community and sought to create fellowship with the Shepherd who calls you by name. Kudos to the Admin Team as you worked to keep this ministry organized and running efficiently, all for the glory of the Creator (and Organizer)of the universe. And thanks to all who planned and participated in our fun and meaningful Events that brought all of our JANES together for the sake of friendship. . . in honor of the Friend that sticks closer than a brother. You have inspired us and encouraged us to keep reaching for all that God has destined us to be. I am truly blessed and so very proud to be your servant.

"So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully." Romans 12:5-8

Fill the Front!

We've realized that our church is at the size now where we need more than just the band leading worship. When our members and committed attendees sit in the front of the auditorium during the worship service, it can generate an enthusiasm and spirit of worship that is infectious for the entire congregation. We would like to invite all of the MOB, JANES and Home Team members to make a concerted effort to "fill up the front" at every service. Please join us starting this weekend.

A Spontaneous Comeback

Bay Area Fellowship had our first SPONTANEOUS Revival! The revival began on First Wednesday and ended on the following Sunday. God moved in an awesome way during this time of spontaneous obedience. The JANES were definitely represented in the audience, and our very own Women's Minister, DeeDee Sharon, helped lead worship on stage!

We want to thank everyone involved who helped make the atmosphere of SPONTANEOUS conducive to the outflow of the Holy Spirit. God made it known that He loves our beloved city, Corpus Christi, and that He wants our city to have a "comeback" into the divine plan that God has for it!

We want to give a shout-out to Pastor Bil and Jessica for being so faithful to God, Bay Area, and Corpus Christi!

The Corpus Christi Citizen's Creed

I promise to be a person of integrity and to honor those I live with, work alongside, and reside by. I promise to care for my community, to recognize and honor our leaders, and to exemplify my beliefs by the way I live, the words I speak, and the attitudes I display. I promise to make a difference in Corpus Christi by supporting those making a difference. I will love more, pray more, give more, forgive more, dream more, and be more for my family, my community, my country, and my God. I will honor my rights by living out my responsibilities for Corpus Christi, for this is my Citizen's Creed.

We want to thank everyone who helped make SPONTANEOUS a success. We especially want to thank Bay Area's spectacular music ministry.

Our very own JANES Women's Minister sang praises to the King and helped promote a mood of God-centered worship!

Pastor Bil spoke words from Jeremiah in a way that empowered Bay Area Fellowship members to live for God!
